Mr Shah's journey in oral and maxillofacial surgery began at the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai, India, where he obtained his BDS and MDS qualifications. He completed his senior residency in Burns, Plastics, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, India. He then moved to Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, earning his MBBS and MRCS qualifications. Further training in Yorkshire led to his completion of the FRCS qualification.
Mr Shah is dedicated to education, teaching maxillofacial surgical trainees, and examining for the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also an overseas faculty member at Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, India.
Research and Publications
Over the past 15 years, Mr Shah has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer for the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, including in India and Sri Lanka, where he has lectured on topics such as nose reconstruction after cancer and long-term outcomes after oral cancer reconstruction.

Outside of his professional life, Mr Shah is an avid cricket fan, leading the Mumbles Indian Cricket Club in Swansea during friendly summer league games. He enjoys spending time with his black Labrador, Pluto, who adds joy to family walks on the local Gower beaches.
