Dr Darzy has been a consultant Physician with special interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology since 2006. He has worked at the East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. His job involved acute medicine, inpatient management of general medical patients, and specialist clinics in diabetes and endocrinology.

He had his specialist training at Bart’s and Royal London Hospital until 2006.

Dr Darzy undertook his endocrinology research at the Christie Hospital in Manchester between 2000 and 2003. This has led to multiple novel publications, review articles, and book chapters in the field of radiation-induced hypopituitarism.

He has contributed to various activities in the NHS including local and national audits, clinical governance, teaching, endocrinology MDTs, and service development.

Dr Darzy is heavily involved in medico-legal practice involving expert reports in matters of clinical negligence, personal injury, and life expectancy.
