Dr Katie White holds a weekly private GP practice as part of the Pebble Mill Medical Practice located at Circle Rehabilitation in Edgbaston. This service is available in conjunction with The Priory Hospital and not only provides convenient GP appointment times throughout the week but also access to the additional services available at The Priory Hospital including diagnostic tests, imaging services, physiotherapy and referrals to consultant specialists. Subject to availability, same day GP appointments may be available.  

She is a distinguished medical professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Her extensive experience in primary care allows Dr White to offer a comprehensive healthcare service to adult patients of all ages. She has a special interest in diabetes management and uses her expertise to provide personalised care and support to individuals with this chronic condition. She is skilled in all aspects of management of Type 2 Diabetes, including GLP1 (injectables) and insulin treatment.

She champions holistic approaches to health and wellness, empowering patients to optimise their wellbeing through dietary modifications and physical activity. Her dedication to medical complexity extends beyond diabetes management and includes a broad spectrum of complex conditions and chronic diseases including hypertension and cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions, mental health issues, joint conditions and autoimmune diseases. Dr White has undertaken specialist training in weight loss medication, providing patients with expert advice. 

Graduating with honours from the University of Birmingham in 2008, Dr White started her career in hospital medicine, where she honed her skills and developed an interest in addressing complex chronic diseases. In 2017, Dr White completed her training in general practice and became a respected NHS GP partner in South Birmingham in 2020.

Dr White is also involved in medical education and training. As a GP trainer, she shares her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals, nurturing their skills and fostering a culture of clinical excellence.

Outside of her clinical commitments, she enjoys leisurely walks with her lively Labradoodle and actively participates in her local tennis team, embracing a balanced lifestyle that complements her passion for medicine.
