Personal Profile

Graduated from University of Delhi and completed Postgraduate Training in Delhi, before moving to UK in 1995.

Completed Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the North of Scotland Rotation. Further subspecality fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Reading Shoulder Unit and Wrightington Hospital both of which are internationally recognized centres of excellence for Upper Limb surgery.

Have been a consultant in Aberdeen since 2007, and my practice is focused on Shoulder and Elbow surgery. I also perform hand surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery.
I have published a number of papers in national and international journals and have delivered a number of lectures on Shoulder surgery at national and international meetings.

I am also involved in Teaching and Training I have been a Training Programme Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics. Presently I am an examiner for the FRCS(Orth) exam, and a current member of the Specialist Advisory Council for Trauma and Orthopaedics.
