He is a passionate teacher, trainer and mentor for medical students and doctors in training. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ramaesh is committed to research, having published nearly 140 peer-reviewed articles. His research was funded by grants form various funding agencies. His research interests are closely intertwined with his clinical specialisations, ensuring that his scientific contributions are directly relevant to improving patient outcomes.
In his free time, Dr Ramaesh enjoys creative writing and photography, two passions that allow him to explore art and creativity. His love for creative writing enables him to explore different narratives and perspectives, offering a unique outlet for reflection and imagination outside his medical work. Whether crafting stories or personal reflections, this hobby is a form of relaxation and intellectual stimulation.
