About Josephine Guha

Personal Profile

Dr Jo Guha is an experienced and highly qualified General Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical practice. Having qualified from the University of Southampton in 1998 and achieved MRCGP status in 2005, Dr Guha has built a distinguished career spanning frontline patient care, medical education, and clinical leadership. After beginning her career in Dorset and Wiltshire, Dr Guha relocated to Nottingham 15 years ago, spending the past decade as a GP Partner at a respected inner-city practice serving a diverse, multi-need patient population. This has fostered a broad clinical perspective.

Dr Guha's private consultations offer patients the time, expertise, and personal attention their health deserves. Every appointment is unhurried and genuinely patient-centred, reflecting 20 years of listening carefully and treating each person as a whole individual.

Dr Guha has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine — using evidence-based interventions in nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management to support the prevention and treatment of disease. Having recently completed the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) Accreditation, Dr Guha brings this approach to consultations alongside traditional medical care.
