Dr Wong is a consultant in Liver Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University Hospital Coventry. He was appointed as a consultant in Coventry in 2004.

Dr Wong undertook his basic medical training at University of Wales College of Medicine. He completed his specialist gastroenterology training in the West Midlands, which included the Liver Unit in Birmingham. He undertook a research fellowship at Peninsula Medical School (South West England), culminating in a M.D. award in 2005.

He is a senior consultant in liver medicine at University Hospital Coventry. As well as expertise in general gastroenterology, he undertakes advanced endoscopy which includes ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), endoscopic stenting, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and liver fibroscan.

Dr Wong offers a wide range of Liver and General Gastroenterology services including consultations and endoscopy at The Meriden Hospital. He is able to provide routine upper (OGD or gastroscopy) and lower (colonoscopy) gastrointestinal endoscopy for investigations of anaemia, abdominal pain, indigestion or acid reflux, change in bowel habit and suspected gastrointestinal cancer.
