John Robinson is a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with a special interest in Upper GI surgery and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. His comprehensive training took place primarily in the West Midlands, complemented by advanced research and specialist fellowships. After earning an MD in Bristol, where he explored the factors contributing to Type 2 diabetes, he completed his Surgical Registrar training in Bristol. This was followed by a prestigious post-CCT Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery in New Zealand, gaining expertise in advanced techniques.

Since his appointment in 2014, Mr. Robinson has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding a successful bariatric surgery service in Worcestershire. In addition to his elective practice, he remains dedicated to delivering exceptional care in General Surgery, managing a wide range of complex cases.

His passion for metabolic surgery stems from his research background and commitment to improving outcomes for patients with obesity and related health conditions. Combining skill, innovation, and patient-centred care, Mr. Robinson is dedicated to helping patients achieve better health and well-being through tailored surgical solutions.
