About Dr Joe Stone

Personal Profile

Dr Stone trained at the University of Liverpool, qualifying in 2014. Before GP training, he worked as an ENT Clinical Fellow at Manchester Royal Infirmary and achieved a distinction in his post-graduate diploma in ENT.

Dr Stone teaches medical students at the University of Manchester and mentors junior doctors on his hospital attachments. His NHS commitments include working at Manchester Foundation Trust in the Urgent Treatment Centre and in a General Practice in North Manchester.

He has a broad experience of all aspects of general practice and has completed a Primary Care Dermatology course which included the use of dermoscopy to aid the diagnosis of skin lesions.

Outside of his professional work he enjoys playing piano, fell running and astronomy.
