About Dr Joanna Gach

Personal Profile

Dr Gach has been a Consultant Dermatologist since 2005. She graduated in 1993 from Lublin Medical School in Poland and a year later began postgraduate training in General Medicine in the United Kingdom.  She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1999. Following that she trained exclusively in Dermatology and received her higher specialist training in Dermatology in the West Midlands. She is a fully accredited Consultant Dermatologist and appears on the specialist register for Dermatology on the General Medical Council website. She is a recognised specialist in the field of adult and paediatric skin disease, skin cancer and aesthetic dermatology. 

Dr Gach works for the NHS at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where she is responsible for the management of the whole range of dermatological conditions in adults and children. Her interests include moles and skin cancer, eczema/ dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, skin infections, hair loss and nail conditions.

Dr Gach offers a wide range of surgical and non-surgical procedures including mole, cyst, skin tag and skin cancer removal as well as management of photo aging and pigmentation problems.

Dr Gach is an author of over 50 peer reviewed publications, has co-authored chapters in textbooks and has presented at numerous national and international meetings.
