Dr Jo Vlies is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health in particular menopause and perimenopause care.

With over 10 years of GP experience she is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Vlies graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2008 and earned her MRCGP in 2014. She holds additional qualifications including the British Menopause Society’s Principles and Practice of Menopause Care (PPMC), the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH).

She combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to empower women to manage the physical and emotional challenges of hormonal changes. Dr Vlies is an active member of the British Menopause Society and the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum, ensuring each patient receives tailored advice and treatment options that align with their individual needs and the latest evidence based medicine.
