About Dr Jim Lester

Personal Profile

Dr Lester was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in head and neck cancer, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer in 2011 after completing his specialist training and research degree in Sheffield. 

Dr Lester has extensive experience in complex radiotherapy techniques and in systemic therapies including chemotherapy, targeted therapies and immunotherapy. He also treats oligometastatic disease to bones and pelvic nodes with Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR). 

He is the site lead for head and neck cancer and skin cancer at Weston Park Cancer Centre.
