About Ms Jenny Lingenhult

Personal Profile

Jenny graduated from a Problem based Physiotherapy programme at Linkoping Health University in Sweden in 1996 with a BSC degree and has been working as a Physiotherapist in a wide range of areas in Scotland and the UK since 1998. She has always had a keen interest in enabling patients to make informed choices and gain self management skills to continue to reach their goals and improve, also beyond the course of Physiotherapy. She believes in holistic assessments and evidence based interventions and knows that for optimal outcomes to happen both body and mind needs treated.

She has been the Team Lead for Kings Park since January 2022 and is forever striving to ensure best practice and continued developments within the department at site. After an evidence review and close liaison with consultants, this resulted in lifting of precautions post hip replacements in 2024 benefiting patients in their rehabilitation. She has also safely achieved a significant reduction in length of stay for patients undergoing joint replacements since 2022. In her spare time she enjoys continued learning and keeping fit through a variety of sports - hillrunning, mountaineering, biking, dancing and climbing - anything active.
