Miss Jenni Byrom is a Consultant Gynaecologist with over two decades of dedicated experience and stands as a beacon of expertise in her field. Since the start of her career, Miss Byrom has been drawn to Gynaecological Oncology, with a particular interest in colposcopy and the management of vulval diseases.

In 2012, Miss Byrom assumed the role of lead clinician at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, a position she has graced with her exceptional skills and unwavering commitment ever since. Her journey in colposcopy started in 2000 when she completed her specialised training and obtained re-accreditation in September 2022.

Miss Byrom is an excellent communicator, which serves as a cornerstone in her approach to patient care, recognising the importance of empathy and clarity in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Miss Byrom has been the Clinical Service Planning Lead for Colposcopy and Vulval conditions and also runs a specialist Vulval Pain Clinic at Birmingham Women’s Hospital since 2012.
