Dr Janet Barlow is an experienced GP with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 1985 and completed her training in general practice shortly afterwards. She has worked as a GP since 1991 and has been based at The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester since 2003.

Whether you need a routine health check, advice about a health concern, or a second opinion, Dr Barlow offers fast access to expert medical care.

Dr Barlow welcomes both self-pay and insured patients, and a GP referral is not required to book a consultation.

Dr Barlow now offers private prostate screening at The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. Regular screening can help identify problems at an early stage, often before symptoms appear. This service is suitable for men who have concerns about their prostate health, a family history of prostate cancer, or urinary symptoms.

Private prostate screening may include a consultation, PSA blood test and referral for further tests if needed.
