Personal Profile

Dr Jane Johnston qualified at Aberdeen University in 1986, trained as a General Practitioner and became a member of RCGP 1990. In 1994 she joined the Menopause Clinic at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and continues to offer specialist advice to  women having difficulty with menopause symptoms or women who have complex cases with either early / premature or surgically induced menopause. She is a Registered Specialist with the British Menopause Society and has over 30 years experience of managing the Menopause and prescribing HRT.

Dr Johnston became an Associate Specialist in Women's Health in 2009 combining her variety of skills and experience in hormone management along with breast health knowledge from her role as a Breast Clinician at North East of Scotland Breast Screening Unit since 2003.
