Mr Ivo Dukic is a highly experienced Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interests in endourology (minimally invasive treatment of urinary stones), general urology, and the use of technology to improve healthcare.
He provides expert assessment and treatment for a wide range of urological conditions, with particular expertise in kidney stone surgery, upper urinary tract conditions, and advanced minimally invasive procedures.
Mr Dukic qualified in medicine from the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester before completing his basic surgical training in London and Manchester in 2009.
He then undertook specialist urology training within the North Western Deanery in the Manchester region, developing broad experience across all areas of urological surgery.
To further advance his expertise, Mr Dukic completed sub-specialist training at the renowned Bristol Urological Institute, part of North Bristol NHS Trust. He undertook a fellowship in endourology and laparoscopic (keyhole) renal surgery, gaining advanced skills in minimally invasive procedures.

Mr Dukic specialises in minimally invasive urological treatments, particularly for urinary stone disease. Endourology techniques allow many procedures to be performed with smaller incisions, supporting faster recovery and improved patient outcomes.

Mr Dukic is committed to supporting the next generation of doctors and surgeons. He is the Educational Lead for Urology at Heartlands, Solihull, and Good Hope Hospitals.
Since 2017, he has been a member of the Panel of Question Writers for the Royal College of Surgeons Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Urology. He also acts as an educational supervisor for urology registrars, core trainees, and foundation doctors across the West Midlands.
Mr Dukic has a strong interest in improving healthcare through technology and innovation. He completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, developing expertise in the role of digital solutions in modern healthcare.
He has been a sub-editor for the Digital Review section of Urology News since 2013, regularly contributing articles on technology and innovation within urological surgery.
Mr Dukic has also published widely in peer-reviewed urology journals and continues to support research, quality improvement, and the development of safer, more effective approaches to patient care.
