Ioannis is a Consultant General Surgeon with over ten years of experience in his NHS Consultant role. He specialises in both Colorectal and Emergency Surgery and has trained in some of London’s leading tertiary hospitals, including serving as Joint Colorectal Fellow at University College Hospital and St Thomas’. Throughout his career, Ioannis has worked extensively across the full spectrum of General, Emergency, and Colorectal Surgery within the UK.
In 2017, he was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at West Middlesex University Hospital, part of the Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, where he has been based ever since.
In his clinical practice, Ioannis adopts a thoughtful, patient‑centred approach, placing strong emphasis on education, clear communication, and informed decision‑making. He is dedicated to ensuring that every patient feels empowered and supported throughout their care journey.
