Dr Qureshi is an experienced Consultant Haematologist offering private consultations for a wide range of blood disorders. She is currently based at  Meriden Hospital.
Dr Qureshi is passionate about delivering safe, evidence-based, and personalised care. She is committed to improving access and reducing wait times for patients, and actively supports clinical trials to offer innovative treatment options where appropriate.
Her training and academic journey reflect a consistent commitment to clinical excellence and medical education. After graduating with distinction in Medicine from Newcastle University in 2011, she gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013. She further consolidated her specialist haematology expertise by attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2020.
In 2025, Dr Qureshi completed a Master’s degree in Genomic Medicine from the University of Exeter, equipping her with the latest knowledge in genomic diagnostics and its application to personalised haematological care. This additional training enhances her ability to incorporate cutting-edge scientific advances into routine clinical decision-making, particularly in cancer diagnostics, risk stratification and enrolment into clinical trials.
Dr Qureshi is also a committed medical educator and has achieved dual accreditation as an Educator and Supervisor with the Royal College of Physicians in both 2022 and 2024. She actively contributes to postgraduate medical education and supervises junior doctors in training. Her involvement in formal teaching, mentorship, and educational leadership underscores her holistic approach to clinical care and service development.
She is widely recognised for her leadership in service improvement. While working at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, she was awarded the “Best Services for Local People” Trust Award in 2022 for her role in improving haematology services, a testament to her focus on patient-centred innovation.
In addition to her NHS work, Dr Qureshi now offers private consultations in general haematology, with a strong focus on timely and patient-tailored care.   • Investigations for low platelets (thrombocytopenia)
  • Investigations for raised white cell counts or lymphocytosis
  • Basic Clotting and bleeding tendency assessments
  • Haematological health optimisation pre-operatively (anaemia management, iron infusions)
  • Full blood count (FBC) interpretation
  • Iron studies, haematinics, clotting screens, myeloma screen
  • Flow cytometry, molecular testing, and genetic profiling (where clinically indicated)
  • Imaging via linked services (CT, PET-CT, ultrasound if needed)
  • Personalised surveillance plans for stable or asymptomatic conditions

    I seen Dr Iman Qureshi (Haematology) today, very knowledgeable and helpful, wasn't in a rush to finish the consultation, she happily answered all my questions and gave me great advice and was very reassuring happy with the consultation
