Mr Ibrahim Jour is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a substantive NHS appointment at Milton Keynes University Hospital, where he delivers a comprehensive and modern urology service. He has subspecialist expertise in endourology, complex stone disease, uro-oncology, and andrology, and is widely recognised for his patient-centred, evidence-based approach to care. In addition to his clinical role, he serves as Urology Governance Lead and sits on the hospital’s Medical Advisory Board, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and clinical excellence.
Mr Jour was awarded Doctor Of Medicine degree in 2008 and has undertaken extensive international training across Lebanon, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. This diverse background has provided him with a broad and sophisticated understanding of urological practice across different healthcare systems. He completed advanced fellowship training in endourology as well as robotic and laparoscopic urological oncology at leading UK and European centres, equipping him with expertise in minimally invasive and complex surgical techniques.
He holds multiple prestigious postgraduate diplomas from leading European institutions, including qualifications in urodynamics, male infertility and assisted male reproduction, laparoscopic surgery, and medical research. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Urology) in 2017 and subsequently achieved the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) in 2024 through the University of Oxford. He is an active Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and the European Association of Urology (EAU).
Mr Jour has over eight years of consultant-level experience, having worked across several leading NHS trusts including Oxford University Hospitals, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospitals and Northwest Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. During this time, he has developed a high-volume practice managing a wide range of urological conditions. His expertise includes the treatment of kidney stone disease, including complex stone surgery, benign prostate enlargement with a full spectrum of medical and surgical options, urinary tract infections, and general urological conditions. He also has a strong interest in men’s health, including the management of erectile dysfunction and male infertility.
He is highly experienced in diagnostic urology, including prostate and bladder assessment, flexible cystoscopy, and prostate biopsy techniques, and is proficient in a wide range of minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures. His practice is characterised by a personalised approach, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care based on their individual needs and preferences.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Jour has a strong passion for education and training. He previously served as Urology Lead for Oxford Medical School at Oxford University Hospitals, where he played a central role in undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, and examination, including OSCEs and written assessments. He continues to contribute to medical education as an internal examiner at the University of Oxford and as an educational supervisor and trainer at the University of Buckingham Medical School. He is also actively involved in surgical simulation training, supporting the development of future surgeons.
Mr Jour has an established academic profile, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences, including the World Congress of Endourology. His research interests focus on stone disease, endourology, and optimising diagnostic and surgical pathways in urology.

Endourology and Stone Disease: Assessment and management of kidney, ureteric, and bladder stones, including complex stone disease. Minimally invasive treatments such as ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL).
Benign Prostate Enlargement (BPH): Diagnosis and management of prostate enlargement, offering a full spectrum of medical therapies and surgical treatments tailored to the individual patient.
Uro-oncology: Investigation and management of suspected and confirmed urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer, with a focus on timely diagnosis and appropriate referral for advanced treatments where required.
Andrology and Men’s Health: Management of erectile dysfunction, male infertility, and other men’s health concerns, including specialised treatments such as intracavernosal injection therapy.
