About Professor Ian Pearce

Personal Profile

After graduating in 1993, Ian underwent basic surgical training in the West Midlands and moved to the North West for higher surgical training in Urology before being appointed Consultant in 2002. He then underwent further highly specialist training in Madrid and Miami.

Ian has a special interest in Mens Health and in particular penile implant surgery and surgery for Peyronies Disease. He has built up the largest andrology practice outside London and is the highest volume andrology surgeon in the North West.

He has published extensively on Mens Health issues with over 100 publications and has lectured internationally. Ian is currently Trustee of the British Association of Urological Surgeons and will be Hon Secretary from June 2021.

In addition to his clinical and research practice Ian is an adviser to NICE, NIHR, MHRA, BSA and the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
