An Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, he has published extensively and shapes international standards in surgery as the Specialty Editor of the Bone & Joint Journal — widely regarded as one of the most prestigious orthopaedic publications in the world — and as Educational Chair of the Bone and Joint Infection Society.
His contributions to orthopaedic excellence have been recognised with honours and awards from the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Hip Society, The Charnley Trust, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
