Iain, a Consultant General & Hepatobiliary Surgeon moved to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham in 2009, to strengthen the Hepatobiliary Team. Iain works at the The Park Hospital as part of Trent Biliary Surgery, specialising in the surgical management of gallbladder, liver and pancreas disease and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Iain was a Consultant Hepatobiliary Surgeon in Sheffield and at the Thornbury Hospital for 5 years before moving down to Nottingham. Whilst there he introduced a successful day case laparoscopic service, and was service lead for hepatobiliary surgery. Since moving to Nottingham, Iain has taken over as the directorate Clinical Governance lead and set up a Clinical Research Group.
