Personal Profile

Dr Saffar completed her specialist radiological training in North West of England and Wales training scheme. She undertook sub-speciality training in cancer imaging and PET/CT as a fellow at the Christie Hospital in Manchester followed by post CCT fellowship in cancer imaging at Royal Marsden Hospital.

She has worked as a Consultant Radiologist in St Bartholomew's and Royal London Hospitals before taking up a consultant post at Epsom and St Helier Trust in 2019.

Clinical Interests

Dr Saffar is a general radiologist with experience in cross-sectional abdominal and pelvic imaging include subspecialty interests in:

  • Whole body MRI

She regularly reports high volumes of Gynaecological and Multiparametric prostate MRIs. Her Ultrasound interests include:
