Dr Recica is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist with over 20 years of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions. He has a particular specialist interest in skin cancer management and advanced dermatological surgery, including Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly precise technique used to treat certain skin cancers.

Throughout his career, Dr Recica has held several key leadership roles within dermatology services, including Clinical Lead, MDT (Multidisciplinary Team) Lead, and Skin Cancer Lead, reflecting his commitment to delivering high standards of care and clinical excellence.

Dr Recica completed his specialist dermatology training in London and the West Midlands, followed by advanced surgical training in Mohs micrographic surgery in Cardiff. He has further enhanced his expertise through specialised training with leading international institutions, including the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) in San Diego, California, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS) in Houston, Texas.

He has worked in several highly regarded dermatology centres, including Royal Free Hospital, Chelsea and the University Hospital of Wales, gaining extensive experience in complex dermatological and skin cancer care.

Dr Recica is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and an active member of leading professional organisations, including the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the British
Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), and the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS).
