About Mr Hemant Singhal

Personal Profile

Mr Hemant Singhal was Clinical Lead for North West London Hospitals Breast Service and Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London prior to taking a sabbatical to set up a state of the art Breast Service at Medanta the Medicity.

He is a graduate and postgraduate of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He trained in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London, and St Georges’ Registrar rotation. He was a Fellow at Cornell University, New York and a Lecturer in Surgical Oncology at The University of Western Ontario.He completed his specialist training in Breast and Reconstructive Surgery, at the Cardiff Breast Unit.

Mr Singhal is part of the multidisciplinary team and works to establish a firm diagnosis and personalizing breast cancer treatment. He is an accomplished and recognized breast specialist who was instrumental in setting up the sentinel node program in North West London. He is passionate about breast conservation with an oncoplastic approach and the early diagnosis of breast cancer.

Dr Singhal has lectured widely, is the author of a number of scientific papers and chapters on the evaluation and treatment of breast disease.
