She has continued to build on this experience through specialist training, research and teaching.
Alongside her clinical practice, Miss Lancer has a strong interest in research and academic medicine. She has published 18 journal articles and presented her work at more than 50 national and international meetings.

She continues to teach medical students, examine undergraduate medical students and contribute to national ENT courses as faculty. She also mentors junior doctors through regional and national programmes.
Miss Lancer has a particular interest in surgical leadership and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership. During her training, she has taken on several leadership and management roles alongside her clinical and academic responsibilities.
Passionate about supporting the next generation of doctors and surgeons, Miss Lancer also volunteers to speak to school pupils about careers in medicine and surgery.
At Droitwich Spa Hospital, Miss Lancer is committed to providing individualised care, recognising the impact that ear and hearing problems can have on everyday life, communication and wellbeing.
