About Mr Gnanamurthy Sivakumar

Mr Gnanamurthy Sivakumar is an experienced neurosurgeon whose medical career spans extensive training in general surgery, neurosurgery and specialist fellowship programmes in the UK.
He qualified as a doctor in Visakhapatnam, India, in January 1996. Following his initial medical training, he undertook general surgical training in Nottingham, completing this in 2002, before progressing to specialist neurosurgical training, which he completed in 2010.
To further develop his specialist expertise, Mr Sivakumar completed a Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery in Liverpool in 2011, followed by a Fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery in London in 2013.
His clinical interests encompass a broad range of neurosurgical conditions and treatments, with a particular focus on spinal disorders, epilepsy surgery and the management of complex neurological conditions.
