Dr Giri Tarigopula is a general physician and a specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology. He has completed his specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology from University Hospital of Leicester in 2012.
Dr Tarigopula is an established consultant with more than 10 years of experience. Dr Tarigopula is currently working at Hillingdon hospital since 2020. Prior to this he has worked as consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. He a Fellow of the Royal College of Physician, London (FRCP).
Dr Tarigopula manages patients with all forms of Endocrine problems as well as Diabetes and its complications. He engages in a range of multidisciplinary work with colleagues including specialist nurses, allied healthcare professionals, and other specialist clinicians.
Dr Tarigopula has led in developing diabetes foot services, community diabetes services as well as thyroid cancer clinics. He was also involved in in delivering tier three weight management services at County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust. As a general physician, he treats patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
