I qualified as an Orthoptist at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff in 1980.
I am the Deputy Head Orthoptist working for King’s College Hospital at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup.
My main interest is orthoptics, specialising in paediatric and adult ocular motility. I specialise in strabismus and other disorders of binocular vision; paediatric strabismus; complex adult ocular motility disorders; assessment of diplopia/double vision; neurological eye muscle imbalance; nystagmus; amblyopia; convergence and accommodation insufficiency.
I am a Low Vision Lead and offer Low Vision Assessment and supply suitable magnifiers.
Another speciality is visual field assessment on the Humphrey visual field, which is performed to assess glaucoma or neurological symptoms.
