Mr Geraint Williams has been employed as a full time NHS Consultant for Orthopaedic surgery since 2016. He currently works between Northern Care Alliance Trust and Manchester Foundation Trust. His elective NHS practice focuses on the most successful evidence-based foot and ankle treatments for elective and trauma conditions to relieve pain, correct deformity and improve function around the foot and ankle. Mr Williams is passionate about surgical education, training and appraisal, he graduated from The University of Liverpool Medical School in 2004 and completed his specialist training in the Northwest.
He has further specialist training in the form of two Foot and Ankle Fellowships at the internationally renowned Wrightington Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospitals. He has produced 29 research articles / publications / abstracts and presents in relation to foot and ankle surgery at national and international meetings. He regularly receives excellent patient feedback in relation to his kind caring nature and patient centred approach giving patients time and space to explore all treatment options helping them to choose the best treatment to suit their individual needs. Geraint enjoys walking, wild swimming and family days out in his recreational time.
