About Dr Gail Busby

Personal Profile

Dr Busby qualified in 1996 at the University of the West Indies and underwent specialist training in the North West of England. She attained Membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002 and was appointed to a consultant post at St Mary’s Hospital in 2009. She developed a special interest in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology for which she underwent further training in Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool and University College Hospital London. 

She was previously held the post of clinical director for gynaecology at St Mary’s Hospital and committee member and treasurer of the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.

She considers herself a lifespan gynaecologist as she sees patients of all ages with benign gynaecological conditions.
