About Fiona Carter

Personal Profile

Fiona Carter - (BSc / MCSP / HCPC) is a chartered registered physiotherapist with a specialist interest in female and male continence and pelvic health. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1993. She has worked in the NHS and private healthcare as her career has evolved. Fiona decided in 2003 to specialise further into women’s health and continence promotion for women and men. For both women and men this can be an embarrassing topic and it is often seen as a taboo subject, but it does not need to be. Fiona is passionate to help women and men resolve/improve their conditions and very much takes on a proactive holistic approach to helping the individual/patient improve their quality of life. She is an active member of specialist pelvic health groups including POGP and has continued to acquire and develop her extensive knowledge across a broad range of areas with ongoing post graduate education.
