Dr Fawad Hameed is a respiratory consultant physician working at the Great Western Hospital.

He specialised in Respiratory medicine in South West Deanery and worked in various NHS hospitals in training posts. He undertook fellowship in Oxford in Pulmonary Interventions and was trained to do Endobronchial Ultrasound and pleural ultrasound. He is also trained in bronchoscopy and techniques used for pleural effusion drainage.

He is a Responsible Clinician for Targeted Lung Health Check programme in Swindon, and is actively involved in quality improvement in medicine and training junior doctors. He has a wide range of clinical experience and interests in this area.
