Personal Profile

Dr Ayob is a Consultant in Pain Medicine with anaesthetic background. She qualified at Kings College London, UK in 2007. She then completed her specialist training in London Hospitals and Toronto, Canada.

She completed her Advanced Pain fellowship at established pain centres such as Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Royal Marsden Hospital in London. She successfully gained fellowships from the Royal College of Anaesthetists and Faculty of Pain Medicine, United Kingdom. Later on, she gained the prestigious Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice endorsed by World Institute of Pain.

Dr Ayob has also an international experience where she successfully initiated and led a pain management service in Dubai, supporting a large Spine, orthopaedic and sports medicine group of specialist doctors.

Dr Ayob regularly works in collaboration with various specialties Consultants (such as Spinal surgeons, Orthopaedics, Neurologists, physiotherapists, etc) to provide holistic treatment for patients. 

Clinical Interests

Dr Ayob offers expert consultations and management (both medical and interventional) for Chronic pain conditions including spinal (sciatica, back or neck pain), joint, pelvic and abdominal pain, fibromyalgia, cancer related pain and neuropathic pain.
