Mr. Faizul Hassan is a Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon, holding an MBBS degree and the esteemed FRCS (SN) qualification working at the world renowned The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. With a specialised focus onback pain, degenerative spine conditions, lumbar spine disorders, and neck pain, Mr. Hassan is recognised for his expertise in spinal surgery.
Having graduated from Dhaka Medical College, Mr. Hassan pursued advanced training in surgical and neurosurgical disciplines in Bangladesh before transitioning to the United Kingdom. There,he completed his MRCS training and secured a position in the highly competitive National Neurosurgery Training Programme within the Northern Deanery.
To deepen his understanding of spinal surgery, Mr. Hassan undertook a distinguished Orthopaedic Spinal Fellowship at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne. His fellowshiphoned his skills in treating cervical spine conditions, intradural tumours, metastatic spinal cord tumours, and mastering minimal invasive spinal neurosurgery techniques.
Mr. Hassan's contributions extend beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by his scholarly pursuits. His research endeavours have explored a range of topics and published many articlesin reputed Neurosurgical and spinal journals. Mr Hassan is keen on transferring his knowledge and skills to the next generation spinal surgeons specially those to underdeveloped countries. Hence, he regularly teaches in various courses and seminars bothin UK and abroad.
