He operates on kyphosis, scoliosis and spondylolisthesis and also treats lumbar and cervical disc disease in the adult patients. Mr Mr Sedra offers a comprehensive service including conservative measures of treatment, spinal injections and surgery, should all other means of treatment fail.
Mr Sedra utilises computer navigation and advanced robotic solutions to perform complex procedures and secure the best outcomes for his patients. He also performs his surgery employing minimally invasive techniques.

He treats his patients in a multidisciplinary fashion with his colleagues (spinal surgeons, pain management consultants, radiologists, physiotherapist and psychologist). This offers his patients a comprehensive service of care. Mr Sedra uses online software to provide his patients with video and readable material about the procedure they are due to undertake which patients have found useful in understanding all aspects of their care and helped them feel comfortable before surgery.
Mr Sedra is also interested in teaching and education. He shared in the development and supervision of the spinal fellowship scheme at the Royal London Hospital which is now one of the most competitive fellowships in the UK. He also teaches the MSc course at Queen Mary and University College London. He runs regular teaching sessions for the junior doctors at The Royal London Hospital to empower them with the knowledge to treat spinal pathologies and manage spinal emergences.
Outside work, Mr Sedra is an avid reader and enjoys photography and spending time with his family.
