Personal Profile

Dr Xhafa-Hamiti completed medical training at the University of Prishtina Medical School with post-qualification training and experience gained in Oncology departments in London, such as UCLH, Imperial NHS Trust, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, and Bart's Health NHS Trust.

She completed postgraduate training at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and continues to be a member of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) in London, The Association of Cancer Physicians (ACP) and the European Society of Medical Oncologists (ESMO).

Since 2021, she has held a medical oncology consultant post at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and a visiting consultant post at Wexham Park Hospital and King Edward VII Hospital, where she treats oncology patients, mainly focusing on two tumour types: Breast and Lung cancer/

She also offers acute oncology expertise (AOS) while making a management plan for inpatients admitted to both hospitals who present with acute problems as a consequence of their treatment or cancer-related problems.
