About Emily Ironside
Personal Profile
Emily graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in 2023. Since qualifying, she has gained experience in both ward and outpatient settings at Albyn Hospital.
Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, Emily also completed a Level 3 Sports Massage qualification, which she regularly incorporates into her physiotherapy practice to support patient recovery.
Alongside her role at Albyn, she also serves as the physiotherapist for a semi-professional football team, further expanding her clinical expertise in sports-related care.
As a junior physiotherapist, Emily is passionate about developing her skills and broadening her clinical knowledge. She takes a balanced approach to treatment, combining hands-on techniques with exercise-based therapy. She is known for being an excellent listener who prioritises patient-centred care.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys staying active through gym training, running, and learning to play golf.
