About Mr Elroy Stephens

Personal Profile

Elroy obtained his BSc in Physiotherapy in 2003 and his Masters qualification in 2015. He is a registered member of the Health Professions Council (HPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).

For the last 6 years he has worked as a Band 7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the London Independent Hospital where he currently sees the highest number of patients who have undergone recent surgery. His experiences as a Team Leader in several healthcare departments in the past has meant that he understands the importance of continuing his own professional development as well as reflecting critically on his own working practice. The time he has spent working in the Outpatient setting has helped him to develop the level of expertise required to successfully assess and treat patients presenting with a variety of Musculoskeletal conditions.

Outside of work his experience as a qualified fitness instructor has provided him with the required skills to lead a variety of exercise classes which include General fitness, Osteoarthritis of the Knee and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction.

On a more personal note he considers himself to be a highly motivated and conscientious individual who would reflect favourably on any Physiotherapy department as well as on the profession as a whole.
