About Elizabeth Fairfax

Personal Profile

Dr Fairfax is an experienced General Practitioner who has been caring for patients across Hampshire since 2012. She studied medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she also completed an intercalated degree in Molecular Medicine. She went on to complete her GP training in Winchester and holds a Diploma in Child Health.

Combining a warm and attentive approach with broad-ranging expertise in primary care, Dr Fairfax believes that excellent general practice begins with truly listening. She takes the time to understand each patient as a whole person, offering thoughtful, clear, and collaborative care.

Dr Fairfax has experience in clinical leadership and designing community-based services for older adults. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, women’s health and the menopause, as well as caring for patients across all stages of life.

Outside of work, Dr Fairfax enjoys cooking, playing tennis and spending time with her family exploring the Hampshire countryside.
