About Elhussein Elgengehy

Mr Elgengehy is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years of international experience, currently practising in the UK within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as well as in private practice.
He specialises in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction, and deformity correction, with extensive experience managing both complex conditions and common orthopaedic problems. His practice includes treatment of foot pain, bunions, arthritis, and limb length discrepancy, as well as advanced reconstructive procedures.
Mr Elgengehy completed his orthopaedic training at Ain Shams University, Egypt, where he progressed from resident to Professor of Orthopaedics, developing significant expertise in complex deformities and trauma. He subsequently undertook advanced international training and obtained FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) in the UK.
He has worked in several prestigious institutions including Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where he performed complex limb reconstruction surgery, and East Lancashire Teaching Hopsital in North West.
Mr Elgengehy currently provides both NHS and private orthopaedic care, offering a comprehensive service ranging from advanced limb reconstruction to common day-case procedures. He is committed to delivering personalised, patient-centred care with a focus on restoring function, reducing pain, and achieving the best possible outcomes.
