About Mr Douglas Robinson

Personal Profile

Mr Douglas Robinson qualified from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 2001 and completed his specialist training in Scotland in 2011.

Since that time, Mr Robinson has held a substantive NHS post as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Upper Limb surgery. He is part of the orthopaedic trauma on-call rota in Tayside and offers subspecialist service in Upper Limb Surgery for both trauma and elective patients.

Mr Robinson is well recognised as an Orthopaedic trainer and was presented with the Orthopaedic trainer of the year award in Scotland in 2019.
