Mr Diwakar Sarma is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon.

As a specialist and over 15 years of experience, Mr Sarma provides patients with the utmost quality of patient care. Having qualified from the University of Kolkata, India in 2004, he underwent the highest level of national and international training in general and colorectal surgery to achieve Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, London, post graduate certificate in Coloproctology, University of East Anglia and several other accolades. Through his training he has gained exceptional insight and experience in his field.

Furthermore he has written many peer reviewed research papers for renowned journals, presented in regional, national and international conferences, been a supervisor to several research projects and is currently the Secretary of the Royal Society of Medicine (Surgical section), Course Director for Surgical skills for the Royal College of Surgeons, London.
