On completion of his orthopaedic training, Mr Sandher spent time in Melbourne, Australia as a Shoulder and Elbow fellow to Mr S N Bell and Mr W Wright at the Monash Medical Centre.
Mr Sandher’s main clinical interest is arthroscopic shoulder surgery and sports injuries. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the Northwest Upper Limb Group and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
Mr Sandher qualified from Manchester University, in 1996. He underwent his postgraduate training in the Northwest and completed his higher surgical training around the region and specialised in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at Stepping Hill Hospital.
He also trained in Melbourne, Australia as an overseas fellow with Mr S Bell and Mr W Wright at Monash University in 2007 and was appointed at Manchester Royal Infirmary as a Shoulder and Elbow surgeon in 2008.
He moved to Stockport NHS Foundation trust (Stepping Hill Hospital) in 2015 where he was appointed Clinical Director in 2016 and then Associate Medical Director in November 2017.
