Personal Profile

David Fanthorpe qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2013 from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Since then, he has built a diverse career across the profession, gaining experience in both NHS settings and sports-specific rehabilitation. He has worked closely with athletes at national and international levels, applying these insights to help amateur athletes achieve their performance goals.

Originally from Northern Ireland, David has spent the past 18 years primarily based in Scotland, though his work has taken him abroad, particularly in support of sports team, experiences that have enriched and developed his clinical experience. 

David strongly believes in shared decision-making as a foundation of effective physiotherapy. He is committed to best- practice and works to engage his patients through education, helping them make informed decisions throughout their recovery. He actively pursues professional development by attending conferences and is a member of several specialist physiotherapy networks.

A passionate golfer, David has a particular interest in golf-related injuries and the evolving role of physical performance in the sport, an area which is proving even more popular in recent years.
