Dr Daniel Glass is happy to provide advice and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer and mole checks. He regularly carries out skin surgery including to benign lesions for which treatment may not be available on the NHS.
Dr Glass is Consultant Dermatologist to the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust where he is lead clinician for skin cancer; he is also an honorary Consultant to Mount Vernon Hospital. Following training at the University of Birmingham Medical School, Dr Glass has been on the GMC Medical Register since 1999. Dr Glass’ postgraduate training was undertaken in a number of London hospitals including The Hammersmith, The Royal Free and University College London Hospitals.
Dr Glass has been involved in Dermatology research since 1993. His research had been based at King’s College London since 2007. Research interests focus on the genetic basis of melanoma and skin ageing both of which compliment his clinical practice. Dr Glass is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.
Dr Glass has a particular interest in Skin Cancer, and is Dermatology representative for North West London Cancer alliance. Dr Glass’ skin ageing research has led to invitations to speak at both national and international meetings. Dr Glass teaches regularly at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr Glass is an author on a number of publications in high impact journals and has contributed to several book chapters.
