About Dr Dan Perkin

Personal Profile

Dr Dan Perkin is a Private GP at Bath Clinic. He graduated from the United Medical and Dental School of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ (University of London) in 1997. Following that, he worked in and around London (including Kent, Essex and Surrey) as a pre-registration house officer, SHO and then a Specialist Registrar in General Medicine and Gastroenterology.

In 2004 Dan resigned from this training scheme to take up GP training which he did in Bath from 2004 to 2006. Since 2006 he has also been based at the Park Medical Practice in Shepton Mallet becoming a partner in the practise in 2012.

He is also an Educational Supervisor for GP trainees with the Severn School of Primary Care, part of the Severn Postgraduate Deanery. You will often find Dan doing out of hours shifts for Somerset Doctors Urgent Care and Bath Doctors Urgent Care.

He specialises in all areas of general practice with the exception of smear tests. Dan has a special interest and experience in gastroenterology.
