Dr Hayes is a highly skilled Cardiologist with specialist expertise in electrophysiology and complex device implantation. He undertook his advanced training in cardiology and electrophysiology in Oxford, followed by a dedicated fellowship in Bournemouth. His experience also includes time spent at the renowned Dublin centre, further enriching his clinical perspective and technical proficiency.

He is proficient in the full spectrum of arrhythmia management, offering expert diagnosis and treatment for palpitations and dysrhythmias. Dr Hayes has a particular interest in pacing therapies, including complex pacing techniques for patients with heart failure.

In addition to his electrophysiology work, Dr Hayes is trained in echocardiography, including transoesophageal echocardiography, and is experienced in performing diagnostic angiography. His broad skill set enables him to provide comprehensive cardiac assessments and interventions.

Dr Hayes is also recognised as a specialist in Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), offering tailored care for patients with this often challenging condition.
