Personal Profile

Dr Bhupinder (Bobby) Mann has worked as a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at West Middlesex hospital (WMH) since 2003. During this time, he has held a number of Clinical and Managerial roles including Chairing the Hospital Quality and Standards Committee and Chairing the Lung Cancer Group of the West London Cancer Network. He has received several local Clinical Excellence Awards for service improvement initiatives and has also been recognised Nationally by HQIP and NICE for leading local respiratory initiatives. Up until recently, he was the Lead Clinician at West Middlesex Hospital for lung cancer, asthma, COPD, and non-invasive ventilation, and served as the Consultant Lead for the Hounslow Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Community Oxygen Monitoring Service. He has also held the post of Clinical Governance and Research Lead for respiratory medicine at WMH.

His MD research was in asthma, and he has a particular interest in asthma, COPD, lung cancer and infection, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care and innovative treatment pathways. Dr Mann is passionate about advancing respiratory medicine and regularly engages in research and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing the management of chronic respiratory conditions.

Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and enjoys keeping fit, and taking long walks in nature. A lifelong football enthusiast, he is an avid supporter of Liverpool FC and rarely misses an opportunity to follow their matches.
